Imatra Elekter, which is providing electricity sales services all over Estonia, is selling its electricity retail sales business to Elektrum Eesti. The parties have agreed that the 20 000 electricity sales customers of Imatra Elekter will move under the new service provider as soon as the Estonian Competition Authority has given its permission. For customers, everything will remain the same until the transaction is completed. Customers will be informed of further changes in good time in advance.

The transaction enables Imatra Elekter to complete the acquisition of its network services business by Elektrilevi. After the transaction, Imatra Elekter will continue to provide network service to about 25 000 customers. The company manages nearly 3100 kilometres of power lines and 1300 substations.
